oh. my. god. how am i supposed to go on???
one of the best sci-fi/dystopian books ive ever read, but its also so much more than that!! we follow our anonymous narrator who has been raised in a cage with 39 other women. no one knows why they’re there or how they got there and they have very vague memories from “before,” but not our narrator. one day an alarm sounds and the guards watching them flee, now they’re free… now what? THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBURG TOO!!
it’s only january and i think this will be in my top fave books of the year

I just read this book… I don’t know what I was expecting. Perhaps I wasn’t reflecting the whole time… but this was a no for me.
I just finished this book, and the ending just really got me. And all the open ended questions I still have; it's so thought provoking!
This is now another book you have recommended to me, and you have yet to steer me wrong. SO good also gave 5 stars.

"the guards watch them flee".. you mean they watched the guards flee.
just finished this and i feel, frozen??!! like. wow. that’s all i keep saying. can’t shake this story off!!!! 😮💨
I read this in less than 24 hours, and now that I’ve completed the book I’m just as confused as I was when I started. I don’t know how to feel about this story, the narrator, and the other women. Sadness? Pity? Anger and empathy? Sooo many questions I want to ask..
