Master of Iron (Bladesmith, #2):
"This sequel was just as cozy, cute, and whimsically adventurous as the first — but with a bit more sparkle, at least for me. Maybe it was the setting (I'm such a castle girlie), but something about this one felt a little more immersive and rich, even"

Hi Sophia, thank you for accepting my friend request! I'm starting off my Austenesque challenge by listening to Pride & Prejudice on audio. Then I'll be off to try some sequels and variations!

Thank you for accepting!! :) I saw you rated a Deeanne Gist book. Someone recommended her books last week, and I wondered of you also like them. I tend to have some reservation about Christian fiction. I don't mind the inspirational aspect, but the three page sermons that wax poetic on all things faith can be a little heavy-handed and pull out of the story.

Thanks for acceptin. It's all about the peeves. I didn't mind at the beginning because I was still testing the waters in the romance genre but now I know what I will like and what I won't. Lusty Ladies is a wonderful group and I'm really addicted to the challenges :-)
Hi Sophia,I just started at Facebook fan page. I would love it if you would join me on it as well.

Haha! Goddess, no not really. I am one of those people who read really fast and have a high comprehension when I do it. It can be a curse because I do get through books pretty fast. I also have a job in Adult and Family literacy plus I review for a blog so I get to feed my habit easily.
Holy mother do you read! 2189?! That's in the thousands (notice thousand in PLURAL!)You are a pure reading goddess, how do you read that much?
I read around 15 books per month and having a functional social life, while I studying (I confess I read more fun books than my uni's) is hard!
Do tell, do you have a special reading style?

A balcony sounds wonderful! It is pleasant to imagine a nice summer reading spot since right now there are drifts of snow outside and an icy rain blowing against my window, but thankfully I need not be out in it and its warm here inside. ;)
Felicities!
Sophia
Hi,No problem, your reading environments sound very nice. Cosy winter reading or lazy summer reading in the heat, perfect. Think my favourite reading spot is on my balcony in summer, just can't beat a good book, the sun and a cold drink.

Have you read Pamela Aiden or Susan Kaye? I like those the best for getting in the heads of Darcy and Wentworth.
Try "Charlotte Collins" by Jennifer Becton. I also quite enjoyed "Willoughby's Return" by Jane Odiwe. Have you read anything from Elizabeth Aston? Hope you get a chance to read these! :D
