I didn't like it at all way back when and I also thought I was the odd man out.

Agreed!!! I was very disappointed
that's quite a shallow analysis.
you don’t know how to read then
I’m about 3/4 of the way through this. If I have to hear another anagoly after every damn observation. And not just one, we’re blessed with four or five in one go. This is exhausting.
You only read to read then, and that’s sad. Think a little.
I picked it up because I was supposed to join in a buddy read of this book this month. I couldn't get into it, but thought it was just me. (And it probably was, I've DNFed two more books since this one.)
